2. Purpose of the website

The website presents Differant Labs S.L. (“Differant Labs”, “we”) and its engineering, research and development work in areas such as IoT, robotics, hardware security, embedded AI and system integration, and lets visitors get in touch with us through a contact form or by email.

The website is for information only. No products or services are sold or contracted through it, and nothing on it is a binding offer. Any collaboration is agreed separately and in writing.

3. Conditions of use

Access to the website is free of charge and does not require registration. By using it you accept this legal notice. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the website.

You agree to use the website lawfully, in good faith and in accordance with this notice, and in particular not to:

• use it for unlawful purposes or in a way that harms the rights or interests of Differant Labs or third parties;
• send through the contact form false, offensive or unlawful content, advertising or unsolicited messages (spam), or personal data of other people without their authorisation;
• try to access restricted areas of our systems, introduce viruses or malicious code, or do anything that could damage, overload or impair the website or its servers, including automated submissions to the contact form.

Differant Labs may change the content, design and configuration of the website, or suspend access to it, at any time and without notice.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

The website and its contents (texts, graphic design, images, illustrations, source code, logos, trade names and other distinctive signs) are owned by Differant Labs or used under licence, and are protected by Spanish and international intellectual and industrial property law. The Poppins typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License.

You may view the contents and make private copies for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation, in whole or in part, requires our prior written authorisation. Access to the website does not grant you any licence or right over these contents.

Third-party names and logos shown on the website (for example, those of our partners) belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.

5. Liability

We take care to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but it is general information and may contain errors or become outdated; it is not professional or technical advice for any particular case. Differant Labs is not liable for decisions taken solely on the basis of it.

To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that the website will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we are not liable for damage caused by interruptions, technical failures, viruses or other harmful elements that could not reasonably be prevented, or by misuse of the website by its users.

The website contains links to third-party websites (for example, our LinkedIn and GitHub profiles and our partners’ websites). They open in a new tab and are provided for information only. Differant Labs does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. In accordance with article 17 of the LSSI-CE, if we become aware that a linked page contains unlawful content, we will remove the link.

You may link to this website from other sites, provided the link does not suggest a relationship with Differant Labs that does not exist and is not accompanied by false or misleading statements about us.

How we process the personal data you send us through the contact form or by email is explained in the privacy policy. The technologies used on the website to store or access information on your device are described in the cookie policy.

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

This legal notice and the use of the website are governed by Spanish law.

Any dispute relating to the website will be submitted to the courts of Almería (Spain), unless the law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence, as provided by consumer protection law.
